Οι επερχόμενες καταιγίδες

Το αν οι Ηνωμένες Πολιτείες μπορούν να, ή αν θα, παραχωρήσουν ειρηνικά την κυριαρχία τους στην Ανατολική Ασία και αν αναγνωρίσουν το status της Κίνας ως ίση μεγάλη δύναμη είναι ένα αναπάντητο ερώτημα. Εάν όμως η Ουάσινγκτον δεν το κάνει, βρίσκεται σε γρήγορη πορεία για πόλεμο -κάτι που θα μπορούσε να κάνει τις στρατιωτικές καταστροφές του Βιετνάμ, του Αφγανιστάν και του Ιράκ να ωχριούν συγκριτικά.
